The aim of the project is the recovery of the northeast bank of the Torrent de Sant Joan and its transformation into a new public space for the city. The first phase, born out of the need for a pedestrian path parallel to the torrent, was also suggested as an intervention to protect the river corridor system. Through a strategy of gradient (torrent - slope - path – rest areas - street - city) applied to the section of the project, the project achieves to reduce environmental disturbance while it resolves the urban limit with the city. In the second phase the same matrix is applied in order to arrange a lamination area before the burying of the torrent.
