scob architecture and landscape

  • Project: Sergi Carulla & Oscar Blasco
    Team: G. Yubero, D.Sanchez, X.Astaburuaga, A. Pastor
    Area: 2.350 m2
    Client: Tortosa's City Council
    Photographs: scob

The paving project gives prominence to the modernist buildings, following the paths that define the architectural volumes and emphasizing the chromatic variety of its materials. A change in the direction of the main pavement joints and the use of different tones that Sénia stone offers, differentiates the areas and gives personality to the whole. Interior rest areas are created, outside the passing zone, where carved stone benches and blue flowering aromatic plants are concentrated.

    2008
Winner of the contest for the urbanisation of the new Tortosa's Cultural Center.

    2012
Published in the catalogue of VI European Landscape Biennial.

    2010
Selected for the VI European Landscape Award.
